About this English translation
How this English edition is made, what it is for, and what it is not.
Each English page shows a translation of the Spanish text of a Mexican law. It follows the Spanish article by article, with the same numbers.
The Spanish text published by the Cámara de Diputados and the Diario Oficial de la Federación is the official text. The English is a reading aid. It has no legal value.
Each translated page was checked against the Spanish. Terms follow one fixed glossary, for example “employer” for patrón and “Conciliation and Arbitration Board” for Junta de Conciliación y Arbitraje.
Some articles are not translated yet: tables and very long annexes stay in Spanish. Those articles have no English page.
