Article 816 Federal Labor Law

If the witness does not speak the Spanish language, they shall render their declaration through an interpreter, who shall be appointed by the Court, and who shall swear to faithfully perform their duty. When the offering party so requests, in addition to recording their declaration in Spanish, it must be written in their own language, by them or by the interpreter.
