Article 827 Federal Labor Law
TITLE FOURTEEN. Labor Procedural Law · CHAPTER XII. On Evidence · Section Six. On Inspection
Current text · last reform published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) on 14 May 2026
The party that offers the inspection must specify the object matter of the same, the periods that it will cover and the objects and documents that must be examined. When offering the evidence, it must be done in the affirmative sense, setting the facts or questions that are intended to be proven with it.
The inspection evidence shall be taken at the domicile of the Court, unless there is a legal or material impediment for it. In this case, the party that has under its custody the elements to be inspected must indicate the place where the inspection must be practiced and the reasons that prevent it from exhibiting them at the Court; if in the Court's judgment the impediment raised is justified, it shall commission the court clerk or secretary to go to the designated place and proceed to attest to the extremes of the evidence.
