Article 949 Federal Labor Law
TITLE FIFTEEN. Execution Procedures · CHAPTER I · Section One. General Provisions
Current text · last reform published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) on 14 May 2026
Whenever, in execution of a judgment or agreement, a sum of money or the fulfillment of a right must be delivered to the employee, the Court shall ensure that it is granted to him personally. In the event that the party that has been sentenced resides outside the place of residence of the Court, a letter rogatory shall be addressed to the Court or to the jurisdictional body closest to its domicile so that the execution of the judgment or agreement is complied with.
The processing of the letter rogatory for the execution of a favorable judgment may be carried out through an attorney-in-fact, without the latter being able to receive any amount of the judgment.
