Article 262 Federal Labor Law

The employees have the following special obligations:

I.To treat the passengers with courtesy and care and the cargo with caution;

II.To submit themselves to the periodic medical examinations provided by the laws and other labor standards;

III.To take care of the good functioning of the vehicles and inform the employer of any defect that they observe;

IV.To make during the trip the emergency repairs that their knowledge, the tools and the spare parts available to them permit. If it is not possible to make the repairs, but the vehicle can continue circulating, to drive it to the nearest town or to the place designated for its repair; and

V.To observe the traffic regulations and the technical indications that the authorities or the employer issue.
