Article 475 Bis Federal Labor Law

The employer is responsible for safety and hygiene and for the prevention of risks in the work, in accordance with the provisions of this Law, its regulations and the applicable Mexican official standards.

It is an obligation of the employees to observe the preventive measures of safety and hygiene that the regulations and the Mexican official standards issued by the competent authorities establish, as well as those that the employers indicate for the prevention of occupational hazards.
