Article 537 Federal Labor Law

The National Employment Service shall have the following objectives:

I.To study and promote the operation of public policies that support the generation of employment;

II.To promote and design mechanisms for the follow-up of the placement of employees;

III.To organize, promote and supervise policies, strategies and programs directed at the training and instruction of employees;

IV.To register the certificates of labor skills;

V.To link labor and professional training with the demand of the productive sector;

VI.To design, conduct and evaluate specific programs to generate employment opportunities for young people and groups in vulnerable situations; and

VII.To coordinate with the competent authorities the regime of standardization and certification of labor competence.
