TITLE FOURTEEN. Labor Procedural Law · CHAPTER XVII. On the ordinary procedure · Section Two. Trial Hearing

Current text · last reform published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) on 14 May 2026

Once the taking of evidence is concluded, the secretary of the Court shall make the respective certification. In the event that the parties indicate that some evidence remains pending to be taken, the judge shall rule without further procedure and, if he notices any omission in this regard, shall order its taking. Once the foregoing is done, the judge shall successively grant the parties the use of the floor, so that they formulate their arguments in a concise and brief manner.

Once the arguments of the parties have been made, the Court shall declare the trial stage closed and shall issue the judgment at the same hearing, thereby bringing the proceeding to an end. The text of the resolution must be made available to the parties at the same hearing. Only in exceptional cases and where so justified by the accumulation of controverted facts or of the evidence rendered, the Court shall issue judgment within the five days following that of the holding of the trial hearing.
