Current text · last reform published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) on 14 May 2026
The complaint and answer documents must comply with the requirements referred to in articles 872 and 873-A of this Law, insofar as applicable.
Once the Court admits the complaint with the required documents and copies, service shall be made on the defendant, who must answer it in writing within the ten days following the date of the summons, and may object to the plaintiff's evidence, under warning that if he fails to do so the plaintiff's requests shall be deemed admitted.
With a copy of the answer document and its annexes, service shall be made on the plaintiff party so that within the term of three days it formulates a reply and objects to the evidence of its counterparty. Once this has been done, service shall be made on the defendant so that within the same term it makes its counter-reply.
In these proceedings, online processing shall be privileged, except for the material impossibility thereof and without detriment to the rights of employees, insured persons and their beneficiaries.
