In every criminal process, the Public Prosecutor's Office (Ministerio Público) shall be obliged to request, ex officio, the conviction in what relates to the reparation of damage and the judge is obliged to resolve what is pertinent.
The non-compliance with this provision shall be sanctioned in accordance with the provisions of section VII and the second paragraph of article 225 of this Code.
At all times, the victim must be informed about the reparation of damage.
