When the stolen object is a land motor vehicle that is subject to registration in accordance with the law on the matter, with the exception of motorcycles, the penalty shall be from seven to fifteen years of imprisonment and from one thousand five hundred to two thousand days fine.

The penalty provided in the preceding paragraph shall be increased by one half, when any public official charged with functions of prevention, prosecution or punishment of the crime or execution of penalties participates in the robbery and, furthermore, there shall be applied to him removal and disqualification from holding any public employment, position or commission for a time equal to that of the prison penalty imposed.
