The wage shall be paid directly to the employee. Only in the cases in which he is unable to personally collect it, the payment shall be made to the person that he designates as attorney-in-fact by means of a power-of-attorney letter signed by two witnesses.
The payment made in contravention of the provisions of the preceding paragraph does not release the employer from responsibility.
