Article 249 Federal Labor Law

When an employee is close to fulfilling the terms of retirement determined in the collective employment contracts, the employment relationship may only be terminated for cause for particularly serious causes that make its continuation impossible, in accordance with the provisions contained in the collective employment contracts. In the absence of express provisions, article 161 shall apply.
