TITLE NINE. Occupational Hazards
Current text · last reform published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) on 14 May 2026
If the hazard produces a permanent partial disability in the employee, the compensation (indemnity) shall consist of the payment of the percentage fixed by the table of valuation of disabilities, calculated on the amount that should be paid if the disability had been permanent total. The percentage corresponding between the established maximum and minimum shall be taken, taking into consideration the age of the employee, the importance of the disability and the greater or lesser aptitude to perform remunerated activities similar to his profession or trade. It shall also be taken into consideration whether the employer has concerned himself with the professional re-education of the employee.
