Article 53 Federal Labor Law

The following are grounds for termination of the employment relationships:

I.The mutual consent of the parties;

II.The death of the employee;

III.The termination of the work or expiration of the term or investment of the capital, in accordance with Articles 36, 37 and 38;

IV.The physical or mental incapacity or manifest inability of the employee, that makes the provision of the work impossible; and

V.The cases referred to in Article 434.
