Article 552 Federal Labor Law

The President of the Commission shall be appointed by the President of the Republic and must satisfy the following requirements:

I.To be Mexican, older than thirty-five years of age and to be in full exercise of his rights;

II.To possess a legally issued degree as a Bachelor of Laws or in Economics;

III.To have distinguished himself in studies of labor law and economic studies;

IV.Not to be a minister of worship; and

V.Not to have been convicted of an intentional crime sanctioned with corporal punishment.
