If there are several declarants, the proceedings shall be carried out avoiding that those who testify first communicate with those who do so afterward; the latter shall remain in a room different from that in which the hearing is held, for which reason they shall be called to testify in the established order. This provision does not apply to the plaintiff or the defendant.
