Article 87 Federal Labor Law

Employees shall be entitled to an annual year-end bonus (aguinaldo) that must be paid before the twentieth day of December, equivalent to fifteen days of wage, at least.

Those who have not completed the year of services, independently of whether they are working or not on the date of settlement of the year-end bonus (aguinaldo), shall be entitled to be paid the proportional part thereof, in accordance with the time they have worked, whatever that may be.
