Current text · last reform published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) on 14 May 2026
The Court may, at the request of a party, request information from the corresponding authorities on the existence of data and property of the party that is to be held liable, in order to comply with the judgment promptly and expeditiously. Said request shall proceed only when the impossibility of carrying out the execution of the judgment has been established.
In the case of the investigation of bank accounts and the attachment and execution procedure, the Court shall make use of the System for Attention to Requests for Information from Authority or the instrument that the National Banking and Securities Commission implements for such purposes, for which the Courts shall enter into an agreement with said Commission. The foregoing is without prejudice to giving notice to the treasury authorities, as well as to the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), the National Workers' Housing Fund Institute (INFONAVIT) or equivalent institutions, in order to achieve full compliance with labor judgments.
The Court must appoint an appraisal expert for the attached property; when it concerns real property, it shall order the registration of the attachment with the corresponding Public Registry of Property.
