The President shall enter into the exercise of his office on 1st October and shall last in it six years. The citizen who has held the office of President of the Republic, elected popularly, or in the capacity of interim or substitute, or who provisionally assumes the office of the Federal Executive, in no case and for no reason may again hold that position.
