TITLE SIX. Special Jobs · CHAPTER III. Employees of vessels

The wages and the compensation of the employees enjoy the preference set forth in article 113, over the vessel, its engines, rigging, tackle and freight. For this purpose, the owner of the vessel is jointly liable with the employer for the wages and compensation of the employees. When credits for work arising from different trips concur, those of the last shall have preference.
