Article 523 Federal Labor Law

The application of the work norms is incumbent, in their respective jurisdictions:

I.On the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare;

II.On the Ministries of Finance and Public Credit and of Public Education;

II Bis. On the Federal Center for Conciliation and Labor Registration;

II Ter. On the Conciliation Centers in local matters;

III.On the authorities of the States (federal entities), and on their Labor Directorates or Departments;

IV.On the Attorney's Office for the Defense of Labor;

V.On the National Employment Service;

VI.On the Labor Inspection;

VII.On the National Minimum Wages Commission;

VIII.On the National Commission for the Participation of Employees in the Profits of the Companies;

IX.Repealed;

X.On the Courts of the Federal Judiciary, and

XI.On the Courts of the States (federal entities).

XII.Repealed.
