Article 74 Federal Labor Law

The following are mandatory rest days:

I.1 January;

II.The first Monday of February in commemoration of 5 February;

III.The third Monday of March in commemoration of 21 March;

IV.1 May;

V.16 September;

VI.The third Monday of November in commemoration of 20 November;

VII.1 October of each six years, when it corresponds to the transmission of the Federal Executive Power;

VIII.25 December, and

IX.The one determined by the federal and local electoral laws, in the case of ordinary elections, to carry out the electoral working day.
