Article 983 Federal Labor Law

In the procedures referred to in this chapter, the employee, labor union or interested employer may appear before the competent Court, requesting orally or in writing the intervention of the same and expressly indicating the person whose declaration is required, the item that is sought to be produced, or the proceeding that is requested to be carried out.
The Court shall rule within the following twenty-four hours on what has been requested and, as the case may be, shall set the day and hour for carrying out the proceeding and shall order, as the case may be, the summoning of the persons whose declaration is sought.
